Ohio Theatre tickets & upcoming events

The Ohio Theatre in Columbus is one of those iconic spots that instantly make you feel like you're part of something special. Nestled in the heart of downtown, this historic venue has been a cultural cornerstone since opening its doors in 1928. Walking in feels like stepping back in time with its stunning ornate architecture and vintage charm, think grand chandeliers and plush velvet seats. It’s not just about looking pretty, though; the theatre hosts a wild mix of events that keep the city buzzing. You might catch a comedy night during the Columbus Comedy Festival, or groove to local jazz bands that pay homage to Columbus' rich musical roots. Holiday seasons are extra magical, thanks to classic performances like The Nutcracker that have become a beloved family tradition. And let’s be honest, the premium seats are worth splurging on, more legroom, better views, and just an all-around more comfy experience. Getting there is a breeze too, if you're coming from the north side, hop on I-71 South and exit at Broad Street, or head east from Franklinton along Central Avenue. Honestly, whether you're there for a concert, a holiday show, or just to soak in the historic vibe, the Ohio Theatre always delivers a memorable night out. And if you’re wondering about seating, their interactive chart makes picking out that perfect seat super easy, whether you want front row thrills for Wicked or a cozy spot for The Phantom Of The Opera. Trust me, snagging tickets here is a no-brainer for anyone craving a true Columbus experience, your night out just got a whole lot better.
